M. JILL MAGRI

Registered Nurse

President

 1st term ending June, 2009

Chief Operating Officer at Kaiser Permanente since 2003 and over 25 years of acute-care health care operations experience and an in-depth knowledge of the health care industry locally and nationally. 

 For 11 years, Jill served as an RN member of a 50-person volunteer team providing free surgical care to underserved infants, children and adults in Mexico.

ART COOPER

 2nf term ending June, 2011

 

A native Californian and resident of Petaluma since 1981 and married since 1986.  Received a BA in Economics.  After completing active duty in the Navy, he joined the IRS in 1973 and retired in 2004.  Since retirement, he’s been involved in volunteer work and joined the PHC Board in 2005.  He is also involved with PEP, Tax Aid and the annual Petaluma Butter and Eggs Day event.

MICHAEL NOEL

Secretary

 2nd term ending June, 2009

MBA in Finance and a resident of Petaluma for over five years.  Mike is married and the father of two daughters.  Currently employed as Pharmaceutical Sales Rep. with Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. with over 21 years of service.  He is a Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus, Council #11431, St. Vincent de Paul in Petaluma.  Mike would like to see better access to more affordable, quality health care for all southern Sonoma County residents.  PHC Board member since 2003.

ROB TOMASZEWSKI

Vice President

 3rd term ending June, 2011

After a long and successful career in the music and entertainment business, Rob now works for Teatro ZinZanni in San Francisco. Board member since 2002.  

 A native of Detroit, Michigan, he lives with his wife and daughter and has been a resident of Petaluma over eight years.  He is interested in improving the way in which people receive health care and wants to be involved in the community.

CHRISTINE V. ADAMS

Member

 3rd term ending June,  2009

 

 

Board President 2004 to 2007, member since 2000 and retired physical therapist. Christine is proud to participate in PHC’s journey as a premier center for health care excellence serving a large portion of the people in southern Sonoma County.

 She believes strongly that everyone deserves the right to health care and that it is vital for the community to thrive and fill this critical need in the lives of our residents.

 
CARMEN DIAZ

1st term ending June, 2010

    

A Petaluma resident for 7 years. Carmen and her husband have two young children. She has been active in the Petaluma Parent Nursery School and has a small cleaning business.

 She would love to help PHC’s community grow and prosper, while fulfilling our patient’s and administrative needs.

Pat is a strong advocate of access to adequate and good health care for all, an active participant in the community and enjoys helping those who are less fortunate. 

As a Board member at PHC since 2000, she can help make this possible.   In her spare time she loves to play golf, cook, entertain, read and travel.

 
MANUEL RIVERA

 3rd term ending June, 2009

A Petaluma resident since 1976 and former board member of the CA Rural Legal Assistance in Santa Rosa.  Manuel and his wife have been patients of PHC since the start. 

He is Legal Services Coordinator with the Catholic Charities organization.  He believes PHC is the most important medical resource for the low income and immigrant community. 


CATHY WEST
Medical Doctor

Cathie is a MD, DPH and Hospice Medical Director who teaches medical students about preventative medicine and end-of-life care.  Raised in southern CA, she completed medical and public health training in Boston and moved to Petaluma in 1989.  She lives with her husband and the younger of her two daughters.  As a patient and Board member, she is actively involved in increasing access to health care for all members of our community and in improving the quality and scope of services at PHC.
